Celosia spicata

Pink Celosia is a brilliant coloured annual which flowers over a long period in a hot sunny position. Holds it's colour and shape as a dried flower. Hardy annual to 70cm, upright pink feathery flowers.

How to Grow

Celosia can be sown direct in the garden or in trays covering seed with 3mm of soil. When 5cm high transplant to final position spacing 40cm apart. Choose a sunny, well drained position - can tolerate hot conditions. 

 Pests include snails & slugs. Use Organic snail pellets for control.

- Sow Spring and Summer
- 90-100 days to Flowering (removing fully bloomed flowers will increase flowering abundance. Cut flowers are perfect for dried bouquets).

Uses

Excellent cut/dried flower, good for mass planting or bedding display.
